 Parish Council Visitations to Begin Soon! Teams of two Parish Council Members will be contacting you shortly to schedule a time for visitations. This is a time to offer your input and to have your voice heard here in the Parish. In order to facilitate the discussion, we ask you to consider your answer to these three questions: 1. What are your expectations of the Parish? 2. What do you see as your role in the Parish? 3. What are the three top priorities of the Parish?
Religious Education
 The next Orthodox Christianity 101 will be on Friday, October 16th at 6:30 pm at the Santa Barbara Public Library. This will be a monthly class on Orthodoxy taught by Fr. Simon. The topic of this class will be the Scriptures. Please mark your calendars.

Parish Activities
 Greek Language Classes for Children will begin in October. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the Orthodox Center.
 Santa Barbara`s AHEPA Chapter 243 welcomes the returning College Students and Young Adults on October 9th to Taverna Night by SPONSORING all of the Young Adults/Students who would like to attend. You can expect an evening of spectacular food prepared by Georgia Gastouniotis and John Demourkas in a spirited atmosphere where you will be able to enjoy drinks, dancing and maybe even a game of tavli (backgammon)… visit with great "Parea" and fellowship with fellow Young Adults as well as with many within St. Barbara`s Community.
 The Daughters of Penelope will have their annual garage sale, Saturday, October 17th.
 Don’t forget Bagel, Baklava & Bourma is October 29th!
 The AHEPA Glendi will be Saturday, November 14th, at 6:00 pm.

Outside Parish Activities
 “An Evening in Greece” presented by St. Andrew’s church in Arroyo Grande is Saturday, October 10th, 5 pm to 11 pm. For further information call 546-8337.
 Chris Hillman will perform at a concert & dinner benefiting the building fund of the Orthodox of The Annunciation Church of Santa Maria, Saturday, November 7, 5pm at Edwards Barn, in Nipomo. The concert will be recorded for a live CD. For tickets contact Luci Fetzko at tickets@odox.org
