Things are moving along for the start of our new church building. The Design Committee met with our architect on Tuesday. We can expect to have our plans finished by mid-June.

I regret to report that the “summer slack” has kicked in early this year. Up until recently, we have enjoyed a stewardship surplus, but as of last evening (May 16) we have a deficit of $6,600 and we are just at the start of the more “lean” months of summer. Truly, we are thankful for all those who have remained faithful to their stewardship commitments. I would only ask that if you know of someone who has been absent from our gatherings, please encourage them, as member to member, to become more active. Let’s do all we can to maintain our parish community, which is founded upon Christ, lest it disappear for lack of support. It wouldn`t be right if I didn`t let you know things are going.
