Resurrectional Apolytikion Fourth Tone
When the tidings of the resurrection from the glorious angel was proclaimed unto the women disciples and our ancestral sentence also had been abolished to the Apostles with the boasting did they proclaim that death is vanquished ever more and Christ Our God has risen from the dead and granted to the world His great mercy.

Apolytikion for Elias the Prophet
The incarnate Angel, and the Prophets’ summit and boast, the second forerunner of the coming of Christ our God, Elias, the glorious, from above sent down his grace upon Elisseus; he casts out sickness and also cleanses lepers; and unto all that honor him, he pours forth streams of cures.

Apolytikion of the Church
Troparion of our Church: Tone 7
Thou wast transfigured on the mountain, O Christ our God, showing to Thy disciples Thy glory as each one could endure. Shine forth Thou on us, who are sinners all, Thy light ever-unending, through the prayers of the Theotokos. Light-bestower, glory be to Thee.

Troparion of St. Herman: Tone 4
O Blessed Father Herman of Alaska, North Star of Christ's Holy Church, the light of your holy life and great deeds, guides those who follow the Orthodox way. Together we lift high the Holy Cross you planted firmly in America. Let all behold and glorify Jesus Christ, singing His Holy Resurrection.

Kontakion
A protection of Christians unshamable, intercessor to our Holy Maker unwavering, reject not the prayerful cries of those who are in sin; instead come to us for you are good, your loving help bring unto us, who are crying in faith to you. Hasten to intercede and speed now to supplicate, as a protection for all time; Theotokos for those who honor you.

THE PROPHET ELIJAH / ELIAS
This man of God sought nothing for himself, but all for God. God was everything to him: all glory, all strength, all good. Therefore, God crowned him with deathless glory, fearsome might and good things that do not decay and that moth does not corrupt (c.f. Mt. 6:20). This is why God did not allow Elijah ...Read Full Text >
