Resurrectional Apolytikion Fourth Tone
When the women Disciples of the Lord had learned from the Angel the joyful message of the Resurrection and had rejected the ancestral decision, they cried aloud to the Apostles triumphantly: Death has been despoiled, Christ God has risen, granting His great mercy to the world

Apolytikion for 4th Wednesday after Pascha - Mid-Pentecost
O Lord, midway through the feast, give drink to my thirsty soul from the waters of true religion. For to all You the Savior cried aloud, “Let whoever is thirsty come to Me and drink.” As the fountain of life, O Christ our God, glory to You.

Apolytikion of the Church

Today is the crown of our salvation, and the manifestation of the eternal Mystery. The Son of God becomes the Son of the Virgin, and Gabriel announces the good tidings of grace. Therefore, all together with him, to the Theotokos let us exclaim: Hail! Maiden full of grace; the Lord is with you.

Kontakion
Even though You descended into the grave, O Immortal One, You destroyed the power of Hades and arose as a victor, O Christ Our God, saying to the myrrh-bearing women, “rejoice” and to Your Apostles granting peace, You who grants resurrection to the fallen.

The example of the good Samaritan shows that we must not abandon those in whom even the faintest amount of faith  ...Read Full Text >

FOURTH SUNDAY AFTER PASCHA Of the Paralytic
Fr. Christos
CHRIST IS RISEN ! TRULY HE IS RISEN!
The first two Sundays after Pascha Sunday gave us the mystery of the Resurrection to contemplate, from various aspects taken from Saint Thomas and the Myrrh Bearing Women.
