NEWS AND UPDATES GREECE RELIEF KITS: Job well done!!! We collected and shipped 116 kits, and contribute $2900 cash donations!

GOYA: Would like to extend a Thank You to everyone who contributed towards the GOYA fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. We raised $283 from passing a tray. Please help us reach our goal of $1500. See a GOYA advisor or go to our St Nicholas website for the link to on- line donations. Also, we will continue to have luminary forms in the Hellenic Center.

TSOUREKI PASCHA BREAD: AHEPA once again is offering Tsoureki for purchase today after the Divine Liturgy in the Hellenic Center!

PALM SUNDAY LUNCH & PASCHA TRAY: today Philoptochos will be passing a tray for the Paschal preparations. The traditional Palm Sunday lunch will be served today after the Divine Liturgy; fish plate is $12, Spaghetti plate $5, Seniors $9.

HOPE/JOY & GOYA: There is a special opportunity for the youth K-12 grades, to participate in a youth retreat offered on Holy Friday. The retreat will be held from 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM on Friday, April 13, and is hosted by seminarian Steven Klund and his wife. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to the office.

AGAPE SERVICE AND PASCHA PICNIC: We will celebrate the Agape Service at 12:30 PM Sunday, April 15, shelter 6 at Hugh McCrae Park. Please bring a covered dish to share for the Pascha Picnic. Lamb will be provided!

EASTER EGG HUNT: Please bring filled plastic eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt to the Pascha Picninc!!! The kids love this and the adults love to help and watch. Lets help HOPE/JOY make this a fun hunt for the kids!

METROPOLIS PASCHA PICNINC: The annual Metropolis Pascha Picnic will be held at the Diakonia Center in Salem, SC. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the ησυχια, the lamb roasting on the spit, and the fellowship on Saturday, April 21!

L.O.VE. LOVE parents, bring the children to Hugh MacCrae Park on Tuesday, April 24 at 9:30 A.M. We will meet at shelter No. 4 or 5 next to the Small Children’s Playground. Rain day plans are to meet at the Oleander Hanover Center Chick-Fil-A.

HOPE/JOY: Please join the HOPE/JOY children in walking for the March of Dimes on Saturday, April 28, at Legion Stadium. We will meet at the stadium at 9:00AM for registration the walk begins at 10:00AM. To make a donation please go to www.marchforbabies.org/team/StNicholas THANK YOU!

GOYA: Raleigh GOYA is hosting their annual LUAU!!! Saturday, April 28 6:30-11:00 PM Dinner and dancing $15.00 per person.

ECY/COM: Monday, April 30 at 6:00 PM all ministry leaders, and representatives from AHEPA, Greek Festival and Pan-Ikarian Brotherhood are asked to attend this very important calendar-planning meeting. Please come prepared with dates of your ministry’s and organization’s events for Sept- Dec. 2012.

VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL: Registration is open for all HOPE/JOY and LOVE children. VCS starts Monday, June 11 8:50 AM- 12:00 PM. GOYA and parental volunteers are invited!!! Please see Peter and Kim Saffo for details.

AHEPA: Raleigh's Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is hosting "A Night in Athens" dinner & dance fundraiser on Saturday, May 5th. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be shared with the American Cancer Society. Please see flyer on bulletin board and in the Hellenic Center for more information.

IOCC: 20th anniversary of humanitarian service will be celebrated in a cross-country bike ride. The 3000 mile, 33 day journey will go through Seattle, WA, through Idaho, Montana, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, PA and NJ from June 26-July 31.
