Resurrectional Apolytikion (Second Mode)
When Thou didst descend unto death, O Life Immortal,
Then didst thou slay Hades with the lightening of Thy Divinity.
And when Thou didst also raise the dead out of the netherworld,
All the powers of the heavens were crying out: O Giver of life,
Christ our God, glory be to Thee.



Apolytikion of Saint Nicholas (Fourth Mode)
The truth of things hath revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith,
An icon of meekness and a teacher of temperance;
For this cause thou hast achieved the heights by humility,
Riches by poverty.
O Father and Hierarch, Nicholas,
Intercede with Christ God
That our souls be saved.


Kontakion O Protection of Christians (Second Mode)
O protection of Christians that cannot be put to shame,
Mediation unto the Creator most constant;
O despise not the suppliant voices of those who have sinned;
But be thou quick, O good one , to come unto our aid,
Who in faith cry unto thee:
Hasten to intercession,
and speed thou to make supplication,
Thou who dost ever protect,
O, Theotokos, them that honor thee
