Resurrectional Apolytikion (Third Tone)
Let the heavens rejoice, and let things on earth be glad,
For the Lord hath wrought might with His arm;
He hath trampled upon death by death;
He hath become the first-born of the dead.
From the bowels of Hades hath He delivered us,
And granted great mercy to the world.

Apolytikion The Holy Martyrs Marcian and Martyrius (Fourth Mode)
Thy Martyrs, O Lord, in their courageous contest for Thee,
Received the prize the crowns of incorruption and life,
From Thee, our immortal God.
For since they possessed Thy strength,
They cast down the tyrants
And wholly destroyed the demons’ strengthless presumption.
O Christ God, by their prayers, save our souls,
Since Thou art merciful.

Apolytikion Saint Nicholas (Fourth Mode)
The truth of things hath revealed thee to thy flock as a rule of faith,
An icon of meekness and a teacher of temperance;
For this cause thou hast achieved the heights by humility,
Riches by poverty.
O Father and Hierarch, Nicholas,
Intercede with Christ God
That our souls be saved.

Kontakion O Protection of Christians (Second Mode)
O protection of Christians that cannot be put to shame,
Mediation unto the Creator most constant;
O despise not the suppliant voices of those who have sinned;
But be thou quick, O good one , to come unto our aid,
Who in faith cry unto thee:
Hasten to intercession,
and speed thou to make supplication,
Thou who dost ever protect,
O, Theotokos, them that honor thee.
