Dear Nursery Age Children's Parents: Our nursery attendants will be gone December 22nd and 29th. If your children under the age of 5 needs to use the nursery please feel free to do so. We ask though that if you do use the nursery please respect it and the youngest members of our church, by cleaning up before you leave. Thank you for your help.

NEWS AND UPDATES STEWARDSHIP 2013: Just a reminder to all parishioners that we would greatly appreciate everyone completing their 2013 pledges. Please make every effort to complete your pledge and if anyone is able to give any additional funds at this time, it is greatly appreciated! Thank you to all St. Nicholas parishioners for your contributions of time, talent and treasure to our beloved church. Please bring your 2014 stewardship pledge cards to church on Sunday January 12th so they can be blessed. If you aren’t able to be with us on that Sunday, please return them to the church office before that date.

NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATION: Everyone is invited to attend the New Year’s Eve Celebration hosted by The Pan-Ikarian Brotherhood. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and dancing begins at 8:00 PM. Presale tickets are currently on sale.

FOREVER YOUNG: will meet on Tuesday, January 7th, 11:00 a.m., at the church. Please do not bring any food as we will be eating out. I hope to see everyone there so that we can begin the New Year successfully.

FAMILY LIFE MINISTRY OF THE GREEK ORTHODOX METROOLIS OF ATLANTA PRESENTS: “Preparing for the Journey of Marriage”. This is a two-day seminar to train facilitators (both clergy and qualified lay women and men) to conduct the Journey of Marriage Seminar. Any one interested in attending please see Fr. Jon. The training dates are Friday, Feb. 14 and Sat., Feb 15.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: The 2013/2014 PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation is now available for Greek American college students. There are two (2) levels available: twenty (20) awards at $10,000 based on academic achievement and financial need and twenty (20) awards of $2,500 based solely on academic achievement. Applications are available at Deadline is January 31, 2014. Greek American Foundation applications are now available for scholarships, internships and fellowships. Please go to for more information.
