The Diakonia Center is a camp, retreat and conference facility of our Metropolis of Atlanta. It is located in beautiful Upstate South Carolina. The Center was established as a non-profit organization in 2003 and offered its first programming during the summer of 2004. For two weeks in July, 2004, the Diakonia Retreat Center hosted the St. Stephens Summer Camp of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta.

The Center is located on over 200 acres of rolling, wooded land with a small lake for canoeing and fishing, trails for hiking and a beautiful natural setting among the tall pines and hardwoods of the Blue Ridge foothills where guests can encounter the wonder of our Lord’s Creation.
