Resurrectional Apolytikion Third Tone
Let all things above in heav'n rejoice, and let all things below on earth be glad. With all the might and strength of His arm an eternal deed the Lord did perform. Beneath His feet He has trampled down death by death, and first born of the dead has He become. Ευφραινέσθω τά ουράνια, αγαλλιάσθω τά επίγεια, ότι εποίησε κράτος, εν βραχίονι αυτού, ο Κύριος, επάτησε τώ θανάτω τόν θάνατον, πρωτότοκος τών νεκρών εγένετο, εκ κοιλίας άδου ερρύσατο ημάς, καί παρέσχε κόσμω τό μέγα έλεος.

The memory of the just is celebrated with hymns of praise, but the Lord’s testimony is sufficient for thee, O Forerunner; for thou hast proved to be truly even more venerable than the Prophets, since thou wast granted to baptize in the running waters Him Whom they proclaimed. Wherefore, having contested for the truth, thou didst rejoice to announce the good tidings even to those in Hades: that God hath appeared in the flesh, taking away the sin of the world and granting us great mercy.

Let us praise in hymns the all-lauded bride of Christ,* Catherine, the guardian of Sinai,* who is our help and our support;* for by the power of the Spirit she silenced brilliantly* the nobility of liars.* And now that she has been crowned as a Martyr,* she seeks for all Great Mercy.
