HOLY TRINITY VARIETY SHOW, “TRIBUTE TO MOMS”
A SPECIAL THANK YOU to the Stewardship Ministry Team and all those who participated and supported the 1st Annual Holy Trinity Variety Show. There is so much effort, care and dedication that goes into these types of parish events and the constant goal is to build fellowship amongst our Parish Family. One thing we learned is that OUR Risen Lord has blessed us with a variety of talent. Please watch for other opportunities initiated by our Stewardship Ministry Team to promote the gathering of our Parish Family. Congratulations!!!
ICE CREAM SUNDAYS
Sunday School Parents and Teachers, we will be holding our annual ice cream social on the last day of Sunday School, June 8. We need volunteers to bring the listed items below and to assist with serving. Please email Laura Saparilas at laurasap@waketech.edu and let her know which items you can bring. Bring your items that morning and place them in the hall prior to liturgy (ice cream in the kitchen freezer). Needed Items: 200 plastic spoons, The below items can be split up among several people as we will need enough to feed about 150. Vanilla ice cream - enough to serve 150, 1 Gallon Sugar Free Vanilla ice cream, Chocolate sauce, M&Ms (allergy sensitive without nuts), Sprinkles and Whip cream. Hope to hear from you soon!

GREEK SCHOOL CAMP
Greek School Camp will take place, July 7 - July 11, 9 AM to 11 AM, snack provided. Open to students 6 and older, cost is 50.00 per child, registration deadline is May 31st. Content of the program to include Grammar, Numerals, Days of the Week, Structured Reading & Daily Sentence Practice and Liturgical Phrases and Prayers. *Note: Accelerated beginner level curriculum for new adult students only.
BUILDING FUND TAX REBATE CHALLENGE
We have received $10,000 in Tax Rebate Pledges so far and we are hopeful that more parishioners will offer their tax rebate as a gift to our Building Fund. Demonstrate your commitment and support toward the buiding of our future. Rebates will vary according to family circumstances. Those who do not qualify for a rebate, we are asking to offer $1,200. Let’s make a true sacrifice and take our first step together. What are you waiting for? Complete the pledge form located on the candle stand today!!!
PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2008/09 school year is underway. Our Preschool offers extraordinary setting with a loving and didicated staff. We are now entering our 8th year! All parishioners should seriously consider the benfits of our parish Preschool. Contact the director, Betsy Higgins, at 264-2783 for more details.
ANNUAL PUSH-UP-A-THON
Our annual Push-Up-A-Thon will be on Father's Day, Sunday, June 15. This is a fun event with a serious purpose - raise funds for the Wehbie Wehbie Fund to help the needy in Wake County. For the past two years our Parish has distributed over $9,000 per year to help pay utilites and rent, buy food and other necessities for families in Wake County. With your help, the Push-Up-A-Thon has helped raise over 50% of that money each year. Watch for sign-up sheets to sponsor our contestants and join the fun while helping others. Last year you gave $5,936 to the Wehbie Wehbie fund through the Push-Up-A-Thon - let's see if we can reach the $10,000 mark!
FROM DREAMS TO REALITY - General Assembly Meeting
On Sunday, June 1st, we will have a very important Parish General Assembly to discuss and take various actions toward our future. Our Parish Council and the Strategic Planning Committee are ready to ask for the blessing of our parishioners to go forward to build varioius parts of our Master Plan. There are a lot of exciting things to share. Please take the opportunity in the next month to approach the Council and the SPC to be informed and to pray about how you can help our dream become a reality, We hope that all members will atend.
