LENTEN OUTREACH PROGRAM: Each year during Great Lent the family of St. Nicholas supports various charities through a special tray for this purpose. Today, we will support the OCMC - Orthodox Christian Mission Center – we are honored to have Fr. Mark Leondis speak to us about this work and his recent trip to Constantinople. Please support the mission work of our beloved Church with generosity and love.

LENTEN CONCERT: Calling all young singers ages 7 and up......On Friday evening, April 10, St. Nicholas is honored to be hosting a Lenten Concert performed by the New Jersey District Choir of the Eastern Federation of Greek Churches Musicians. In addition to the adult choir members from various New Jersey churches, Youth Choirs from Westfield and Trenton will be performing as well. This year, our St. Nicholas Youth have been invited to sing in this joyous event. GREEK SCHOOL- On Saturday, March 28th at 6:00 P.M. all of our Greek School students will present a program consisting of a short play, poems, and songs commemorating Greek Independence Day . The program will take place in the gymnasium, and afterwards a Lenten buffet dinner will be served in the Parish Hall. Please join us as we celebrate the achievements of our children, our Greek Heritage, but most importantly we commemorate and acknowledge our forefathers who fought bravely for the preservation of the Greek language, and our Greek Orthodox Faith. PHILOPTOCHOS: On Tuesday, March 31, at 7:30pm, our Philoptochos will be holding a general meeting in the church rotunda. We will welcome new and existing members. The various charities that you help us support and ideas upcoming events will be discussed. The St. Nicholas Ladies Philoptochos Society is a not-for-profit organization that reaches out to the elderly, the homeless, the orphaned and others who are in need. Join us in our philanthropic endeavors and give back to others some of the many blessings that we enjoy in our daily lives.
