Former Pastor Gravely Ill

     During the Liturgy today, we would like to request that you keep one of our former priests, Fr. Elias Katras, in your prayers. He has been in a coma for about the past month following complications after a surgery. He is not expected to recover.

Special General Assembly

     Next Sunday we will also have a brief one item General Assembly meeting for approval of an amendment to our Parish By-Laws. This by-law was approved at our meeting in August, however upon turning it in for ratification to the Metropolitan, His Eminence wanted a slight adjustment to the wording for clarification. The essence of the amendment remains, but since the text was changed to admit the clarification the General Assembly must approve it. God willing - it should be a five minute meeting.

Christmas Card

     The Sunday School is offering their annual Christmas card again this year. It`s a beautiful tri-fold icon card which will be sent out to everyone on our parish mailing list. For $10 we will include you or your family`s names and print them on the card.

Stewardship Sunday

     Next Sunday is Stewardship Sunday. We`ll have a light luncheon with the "ticket" being a 2004 Stewardship Card. We would also like to remind you that your 2003 Stewardship remittance must be received by us, or postmarked, by December 31st if you want to get it posted for this year and have it appear on your IRS tax statement.
