PLANS FOR BOWLING AS A SAINT SOPHIA SOCIAL ACTIVITY
We would like to start a bowling club for all of our interested prishioners. Possible days would be Saturdays at 4:00 pm or Sundays at 3:00 pm. Teams would comprise of 4 to a team either all adults, all youth, or adults and children mixed.
If you are interested in joining the Saint Sophia Bowlling Club call Fr. Stavroforos at the Church office and let him or Marta know which day you would prefer - either Saturday or Sunday.
GOYA PAREA TABLES AT SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR IN THE CHURCH HALL
The 'PAREA' tables that have been set aside for them in the Hall during the Sunday Coffee Hour. All that we ask is that all GOYANS between the ages of 12-18 join the Parea. Adult Hosts will include Katerina & Maria Albanis, Jo Nell Potter, Sheila Callesis, & Mina Savvides among others. We look forward to officially starting GOYA in the fall with Advisor Deme Mekras assisted by Adult Team Members comprised of Maria & Katerina Albanis, Sheila Callesis, Jo Nell Potter, and Mina Savvides. Until then all we ask is that you our teens maintain your “Parea” with us on Sundays.

ST. PHOTIOS HOSTS GREEK LANDING DAY CELEBRATION JUNE 25-26
Bring the whole family to participate in this festive tribute and commemoration of the arrival of the First colony of Greeks in North America. This popular annual festival includes Greek food, folk music and crafts, and is held at St. Photios National Greek Orthodox Shrine in St. Augustine. The Greek Landing Day Celebration 2005 is Saturday, June 25th and Sunday June 26, and includes Church Services at the magnificent St. Photios Chapel. On Sunday, there will be the Divine Liturgy at the Chapel. The annual Greek Landing Day Celebration commemorates that historic occasion when, on 26 June 1768, the first colony of Hellenes landed in the New World.
