THE PLANNER
The Orthodox Planners: “Bearing Fruit- witness & service 2005-2006” are now available at the bookstore for $16.00!!

SECURITY Due to the increase in criminal activity in the area of West Street, an alarm system has been installed in the hall (and Priest’s residence). Parishioners are asked to cooperate by coordinating with Parish Council members to enter / exit the hall.

This is a difficult issue and the Parish Council, while ever mindful of our duty as Christians to undertake works of charity, is asking parishioners to consider making a gift or donation of clothing or food instead of hard cash, to those persons who solicit aid outside the church.

Please Note: The Parish Council is seeking the community’s assistance to help cover the cost of the additional security measures, totaling approximately $15,000.00 which includes the Alarm system, installation of bars and roll-down hurricane/ security shutters for the Church Hall. The Parish Council has resolved to pass a second tray each Sunday for the month of October, and all members are asked to do what they can to assist with this effort.
