Welcome Back Our community was well represented by the members of our GOYA who attended Camp Emmanuel this past week in New Mexico. Find them downstairs and ask them about camp.

Vacation Church School Vacation Church School will be August 3-7 this year. We will meet from 9:00 until noon. On Thursday, we will participate (sing) in the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Ascension.

Philoptochos Toy Drive Our Philoptochos is collecting new or gently used clean toys to be given to crime victims. Bring your donations to the Church. Some suggestions to bring: board games, baby blankets, stuffed animals, books, crayons, coloring books, and other toys/gifts that might help children who are victims of crimes to feel better.

GOYA/Youth News Greek Dance Practice has started, check with Taylor or Stephanie for a schedule.

We have an email list for GOYA, so look for GOYA emails from Christina Blooding; and if you know someone who is not getting the emails or coming around, invite them to join us.

Holy Communion Please allow our Sunday School children and teachers to receive Holy Communion first, so they can go down to class. Here are a few things we ask all prepared Orthodox Christians to remember as you come to receive Holy Communion:

First, we should make it a habit to be in Divine Liturgy from the beginning, and stay until the end of the service!

Also, a few other reminders: While it is our hope and prayer that there will once again be ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH, at this time, only Orthodox Christians who are prepared (Baptized/Chrismated in Orthodox Church; active in their spiritual life-Fasting, Prayer, Almsgiving; if married-married in the Orthodox Church, if divorced, having received an Ecclesiastic Divorce, present in Liturgy from the beginning (or at minimum before the Scriptural Readings and Homily) should approach to receive Holy Communion.

Women please remove lipstick before coming to receive Holy Communion, gum should not be chewed at anytime in church, when you approach the Chalice do so slowly and reverently-do not do your cross when you are 'first' in line, as the danger of bumping the chalice and spilling the Holy Communion is increased, also please refrain from doing your cross until after you move away from the chalice.

If you have ANY questions, please contact Father George. Thank You.

Welcome Visitors Welcome, and thank you for worshiping and praying with us today. Please join us downstairs after Divine Liturgy for a cup of coffee and some fellowship.
