Apolytikion (Third Tone)
Amen. Let all things above in heav'n rejoice, and let all things below on earth be glad. With all the might and strength of His arm an eternal deed the Lord did perform. Beneath His feet He has trampled down death by death, and first born of the dead has He become. From the womb of Hades has He delivered us, and to all the world has granted His great redeeming mercy. - Translation from Green Hymnal

Hymn of the Day ( Akindynos, Pegasios, Aphthonios, Elpidephoros, & Anempodistos of Persia)
Blessed is the earth that drank your blood, O prizewinners of the Lord, and holy are the tabernacles that received your spirit; for in the stadium ye triumphed over the enemy, and ye proclaimed Christ with boldness. Beseech Him, we pray, since He is good, to save our souls. - Translation by Holy Transfiguration Monastery

Hymn of the Church
Having seen the sign of the Cross in the sky and like Paul having received his calling from heaven, and not from men, Your apostle among Kings, Lord, placed his capitol in Your hand. Preserve our country in everlasting peace, through the intercessions of the Theotokos, for You alone are the Lover of mankind.

Kontakion
A protection of Christians unshameable,
Intercessor to our Holy Maker unwavering.
Reject not, the prayerful cries of those who are in sin,
Instead, come to us for you are good;
Your loving help bring unto us,
Who are crying in faith to you:
Hasten to intercede, and speed now to supplicate.
As a protection for all time,
Theotokos for those who honor you.
