Resurrectional Apolytikion First Tone
The stone that had been sealed before Your tomb by the Jews, and the soldiers guarding did watch oe’r Your pure and sacred Body; O Savior the third day You arose, and unto all the world did You give life, whereby all the heavenly powers did proclaim that You are the giver of life; Glory to Your resurrection, O Christ. Glory unto Your Kingdom. Glory to Your dispensation, O You alone who love all.

Apolytikion of the Church
The incarnate Angel and the Prophets' summit and boast, the second fore-runner of the coming of Christ, Elias, the glorious, from above he has sent down his grace upon Elisha; he doth cast out sickness and also doth cleanse the lepers; and unto all that honor him, streams of cures he poureth forth.

Kontakion
O Protection of Christians that cannot be put to shame, mediation unto the creator most constant: O despise not the voices of those who have sinned; but be quick, O good one, to come unto our aid, who in faith cry unto thee: Hasten to intercession and speed thou to make supplication, O thou who dost ever protect, O Theotokos, them that honor thee.

Trisagion
We will sing a Trisagion Service today for the repose of the soul of George Nickles (9 days), the father of DJ Nickles. May his memory be eternal.

Parish Council Meeting
The Parish Council will meet today following coffee. Please plan to attend.

Do You Know?
If you know of people who are sick, or in the hospital, or need help, please tell Fr. Demetri so he can minister to them.

Stewardship
If you have not yet made a pledge to St. Elias for this year, please pick up a stewardship card, fill it out, and begin to make whatever payments you can afford. The community relies primarily on stewardship to pay the bills and conduct our ministries to God`s people. Please do not let us down.

Iconography
If you would like to contribute to the Iconography Fund and help us get closer to the next phase, feel free to leave a check or cash in the Iconography Donations box at the foot of the icon of St. Irene.

Church open hours
The church will be open every Thursday from 11:00am until 1:00pm so that people can stop in to pray or to view the iconography. We need volunteers to be here to help with keeping the church open. If you are interested please sign up on the list in the coffee room.

Albertson’s Community Partners Cards
The new cards are available and are on the candle table. Please pick one up and use it whenever you shop for groceries at Albertson’s. We get money back for each dollar we spend there when using our cards.

Recycling for Missions
We have an opportunity to raise money for mission parishes in our Archdiocese by recycling toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges. When it`s time to get a new cartridge, please bring the used one to church, in its packing if possible, and we will recycle it. Every bit that we recycle means more funds for our ...Read Full Text >
