Resurrectional Apolytikion Fourth Tone
When the tiding of the resurrection from the glorious angel was proclaimed unto the women disciples and our ancestral sentenced also had been abolished; to the Apostles, with boasting did they proclaim that death is vanquished evermore and Christ our God has risen from the dead, and granted to the world His great mercy.

Apolytikion for Nektarios the Wonderworker, Bishop of Pentapolis
O faithful, let us honor Nectarios, divine servant of Christ, offspring of Silivria and guardian of Aegina, who in these latter years was manifested as the true friend of virtue. All manner of healing wells forth for those who in piety cry out, "Glory to Christ who glorified you; glory to Him who, through you, wrought wonders; glory to Him who, through you, works healing for all."

The incarnate Angel and the Prophets' summit and boast, the second fore-runner of the coming of Christ, Elias, the glorious, from above he has sent down his grace upon Elisha; he doth cast out sickness and also doth cleanse the lepers; and unto all that honor him, streams of cures he poureth forth.

Bake Sale Donations
Donations are being accepted for ingredients for the Christmas Bake Sale. Please give your donations to Eva, Niki, or Nia, or leave them in the basket as you leave the church. Thank you for your help and generosity.

Holy Unction Service
There will be a Pan-Orthodox Unction Service on Sunday, 16 November, at 5:30pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Albuquerque. The service will be celebrated by the Orthodox Clergy of New Mexico, and it will be an excellent way to begin the Christmas fast. If you know of people who are sick, or in the hospital, or need help, please tell Fr. Demetri so he can minister to them.


Stewardship
If you have not yet made a pledge to St. Elias for this year, please pick up a stewardship card, fill it out, and begin to make whatever payments you can afford. The community relies primarily on stewardship to pay the bills and conduct our ministries to God`s people. Please do not let us down.

Iconography
If you would like to contribute to the Iconography Fund and help us get closer to the next phase, feel free to leave a check or cash in the Iconography Donations box at the foot of the icon of St. Irene.

Church open hours
The church will be open every Thursday from 11:00am until 1:00pm so that people can stop in to pray or to view the iconography. We need volunteers to be here to help with keeping the church open. If you are interested please sign up on the list in the coffee room.

Albertson’s Community Partners Cards
The new cards are available and are on the candle table. Please pick one up and use it whenever you shop for groceries at Albertson’s. We get money back for each dollar we spend there when using our cards.

Recycling for Missions
We have an opportunity to raise money for mission parishes in our Archdiocese by recycling toner cartridges and inkjet cartridges.
