Apolytikion for Tone Four

Apolytikion for Tone Four
The women disciples of the Lord heard from the angel, the joyful news of the Resurrection and the repeal of the sentence imposed upon our forefathers. With pride they said to the Apostles, "Death is vanquished, Christ our God is risen bestowing upon the world His great mercy." -Translation by Narthex Press

Apolytikion for Adrian & Natalia the Martyrs & their 23 Companion Martyrs in Nicomedea

Apolytikion for Adrian & Natalia the Martyrs & their 23 Companion Martyrs in Nicomedea
You deemed that Faith which has salvation to be riches never lost or plundered. You forsook your fathers' impiety, and you followed your Master, becoming rich in His divine gifts, O glorious Adrian. With the godly-minded Natalie, who emboldened you, entreat Christ God, O Martyr, that our souls be saved.

Apolytikion of the Church
Today is the beginning of our salvation, and the revelation of the mystery of ages. The Son of God becomes the Son of the Virgin, and Gabriel proclaims this gift from God. Together with him, we cry out, to you, O Theotokos: “Hail, you who are full of grace, the Lord is with you.”

Kontakion
In your holy birth, Immaculate One, Joachim and Anna were rid of the shame of childlessness; Adam and Eve of the corruption of death. And so your people, free of the guilt of their sins, celebrate crying: "The barren one gives birth to the Theotokos, who nourishes our life." - Translation by Narthex Press
