Fellowship Hour
We wish to thank Stavroula and Demetrus Kazan for sponsoring Fellowship Hour with the assistance of St. Irene’s Philoptochos.
We also thank the The Macaris Family for hosting Fellowship Hour last week!
If you haven’t offered to do the fellowship hour lately, please sign the roster today. All our parishioners and visitors appreciate this after-service gathering.
All those who sponsor the fellowship hour and wish to deduct the expenses incurred, may request an IRS donation form from Mary Correia in the church office.
HELLENIC COLLEGE AND HOLY CROSS:
On the Sunday closest to the Feast of the Holy Cross, we remember our two beloved Schools Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology. For this reason a tray is offered. We ask for your prayers, love and support for the Faculty, Administration, Staff and Students. It is through these schools that all are educated in our Orthodox Faith.
ATTENTION PARENTS OF PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADERS:
Church School begins today. All children in the St. Nicholas community and their guests are invited to our Church School for religious instruction every Sunday! We are looking forward to greeting all of our returning St. Nicholas scholars and meeting new ones. No pre-registration necessary. Pre-K students should be old enough to sit alone and hold a crayon. Interested families should come join us in the church hall immediately after communion. After a brief snack, students and teachers will then proceed down to the classrooms. Father will bless the classrooms and the students with the Agiasmo after dismissal of the Faithful. Contact Meg Bousvaros or Maria Decoulos with questions.
HOPE/JOY PARENT MEETING TODAY
Our first parent/guardian meeting will be today following Church School. We ask that all parents be present for this quick meeting in which we will discuss our first event of the New Church Year. Please also know… we are looking for 2 new advisors for this ministry! If you would like to help and give your attention to this much needed ministry…we can definitely use your talent and love!!!
