S.O.L.S. SPIRITUAL ORTHODOX LIFE SERIES - This series will be four to five sessions/themes (for the year) each consisting of four to five weeks. Our first series “The Divine Liturgy: What it is, its tradition and how it is celebrated today” has begun. The dates for this series will be October 13, 20, 27 and November 3. We encourage all of our faithful to attend.

WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY THURSDAYS 11AM: There will be a weekly Bible Study offered to the faithful of our community. This will be a one hour Bible study. We encourage those who are able to come for this hour (bring your lunch if it will be your lunch break) to learn more about the Word of God. We will begin with the Gospel According to John. We ask that you bring a Bible with you for the study.

DIVINE LITURGY OF ST. IAKOVOS On Thursday, October 22 we will celebrate The Divine Liturgy attributed to St. Iakovos (his feast day is celebrated on Oct.23). This is a completely different Liturgy and we ask all our faithful to be present for worship.

FAMILY NIGHT THIS FRIDAY – Our first Parish Family Night will be on October 23 at 6:30pm. All youth ministries of our community will meet, there will also be sessions for young adults, parents and all those who would like to attend this monthly gathering in fellowship.

CHURCH SCHOOL- Is off to a great start. All children from PreK-12th grade are welcome. We meet in the Church Hall after Communion for a brief snack and then go downstairs to our classrooms. ATTENTION PARENTS OF CHILDREN from PRE-K to 2ND GRADE: The teachers will greatly appreciate if you escort you children back upstairs after service.

AUTUMN PANCAKE BREAKFAST – Sunday, October 25 following Divine Liturgy. Sponsored by St. Irene’s Philoptochos. $5/per person. Tickets will be available today. Limited seating.

Home/Hosptial/Nursing Home Visitations for Holy Communion Please contact Fr. Demetri in order for him to visit our fiathful who are unable to come to Church and to offer them Holy Communion. If there is someone you know that needs such a visit, please call 781-862-0315 as soon as possible.

“RELINQUISHED TREASURES & ANTIQUES” (WHITE ELEPHANT SALE) - Saturday, November 7 – 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 pm. St. Irene’s Hall – sponsored by St. Irene’s Philoptochos. Items needed: knick-knacks, small household items, glassware, books, toys, games, sports equipment, small furniture, etc. No clothing, TV’s, computers, computer parts.
