Coffee Hour Today, GOYA is hosting a luncheon in order to raise funds to attend the basketball tournament. Please come by the parish house after church and support our youth. A big thank you goes to Zanetta Rapos for sponsoring it for us!

Sunday School Sunday School will be held immediately after communion. Also I am still taking care of the Youth Center cat family.  If no one is interested in any I'm afraid I will have to let Animal Control pick them up on Monday for their own safety.

Orthodox Bible Study Orthodox Bible Study, this Saturday, November 14th, after Vespers. Please join us!

Capital Development Tray As this is the second Sunday of the month, a second tray will be passed for donations to the capital development fund. Please support this effort.


Philoptochos Bake Sale Our Annual Bake Sale is going on right now.  Order forms were sent via email but there are copies in the Parish Home also.  The Bake Sale is our major fund raiser for the year.  We hope we will be successful and able to carry on with our mission, which is to help those in need and to help our church.  This past year we gave almost $8,000 to the church and to church groups ($5,000 for a cornerstone, $1,000 to GOYA, $1,000 to the Sunday School).  We also gave over $5,000 to Local Charities.  Please help us by ordering and by giving the order form to friends and relatives so they can order.

Food Pantry Please don't forget to bring something for the food pantry when you come to church, especially now after Ike when the need is great. Any non-perishable items are welcome - peanut butter, canned stew, canned soups with some meat, canned vegetables, canned tuna or chicken or salmon, baby formula, diapers, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc. Please support this church ministry. Prosforo Reminder Please make sure that Prosforo is in church before the start of the service on Sunday. Please write the date (or put a sticker with the date) on the plastic bags with the Prosforo. That way the oldest will be used first. Thank you for your help, Cleopatra Nelson
