Luncheon Today The Luncheon for His Eminence, Metropolitan ISAIAH, has been graciously donated by Demetrios Valsamis, and we thank him.  However, because of the large crowd that we`re expecting, we have hired wait staff and clean up staff.  There will be a donation basket at the front of the food table, please consider a contribution of $5 to help defray the cost of the wait staff.  Thank you and we look forward to an informative weekend with His Eminence.

Community Christmas Card Once again, St. John`s will be sponsoring our annual "Community Christmas Card."  It is one where the Faithful make a donation and have their names listed on one beautiful card that is then mailed out to all the Parishioners and Friends of the Parish convening the Christmas message.  It serves two purposes.  First, it saves one from having to mail out individual Christmas cards to church members, and secondly, the proceeds collected go toward the Priest`s Benevolent Fund where the Pastor is able to anonymously help those in need of immediate assistance. Sign-up forms will be available starting Sunday, Nov. 23rd in the Narthex.  A minimum of $25.00 donation is required.

GOYA News GOYA held another successful babysitting night this Friday. Thank you to all who brought your children and to all of the GOYAns who came to help out. We also had a wonderful lunch and discussion with the Metropolitan on Saturday. Thank you to all who came and prepared questions! Next weekend, November 21-23 our GOYAns will be attending our biannual retreat. It will be held at T Bar M Ranch in New Braunfels, TX. We are excited we have the opportunity to grow in our faith with other youth from across our state.

AHEPA News AHEPA Houston is inviting us to join their Christmas benefit dinner/dance on Dec 14, at Junior League in Houston.  Tickets are $75/person which can be obtained from George Zacharias.  Let`s show them our support.

Philoptochos Bake Sale! It`s time for our annual bake sale. This year it will be on December 13 and 14. Please help us by passing out the order forms to your co-workers, family, and friends.
