SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our parish Oratorical Festival will take place today at 12 noon in the church. Any parishioners who would like to hear this year`s speakers are welcome to attend.
Sunday School Teachers will have a meeting today in the Reception Room following the Oratorical festival.


SPECIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
On Sunday, May 6th, we will be holding a Special General Assembly regarding the property on Mill & Ridge Aves. Please make every effort to attend this very important meeting.


METROPOLITAN EVANGELOS AWARDS BANQUET
The banquet will be held on Sunday, June 3rd. Please see attached flyer for more information.


PHILOPTOCHOS NEWS
Baking for our annual Greek Festival will Continue on Tuesday, April 24th at 6:00 pm in the commercial kitchen. We need everyone's support, please make every effort to attend!
There is a Philoptochos meeting on Sunday, April 29th, immediately following the Divine Liturgy.


BIBLE STUDY
Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, April 24th at 7:00 pm.

SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Holy Trinity is looking to form a summer basketball league to be played in the gym starting this summer. Any adults (18+) of Orthodox faith interested in participating, please speak to Anthony Panetta or Michael Kent.

The Sanctification of the Holy Myrrh at the Ecumenical Patriarchate

The Sanctification of the Holy Myrrh (the Chrism Oil used in the Orthodox Church for the Sacrament of Confirmation) took place this Holy Week at the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople in the Phanar, with His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew presiding and the participation of approximately 55 Orthodox Hierarchs from around the world, including representatives from the Senior Patriarchates of Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem, the Patriarchate of Serbia, the Autocephalous Churches of Cyprus, Greece, Poland, Albania and the Czech Lands and Slovakia. It was an auspicious celebration that takes place approximately once every ten years, when the reserve of Holy Myrrh nears depletion.
