On Memorial Day weekend the Junior Olympics were held at Saints Constantine & Helen Church in Palos Hills. Our St. Nicholas Church was well represented by many eager and talented young people. We are proud to congratulate and announce the following medal winners:

METROPOLIS OF CHICAGO YOUTH CHOIR CONFERENCE OCTOBER 9-10-11, 2009
This conference will be hosted by our St. Nicholas Church and is intended for all young people, 8 years old through High School.
Father John is asking the parents with children in this age category to:
• discuss this with their children to make the commitment to participate
• mark the event on your calendars
• notify him as soon as possible that your children will participate
This should be viewed as a special opportunity for learning and fellowship. Children who love the Lord and are devoted to Him should prove it by participating and singing for Him.
AN INVITATION
In celebration of their 50th Anniversary, St. John the Baptist Church in Des Plaines, IL are hosting a Variety Show “More Stuffed Tomatoes”, on Friday, October 23, 2009, directed by Tom Akouris. The Open Call Casting is Sunday, June 28 from 1:00 -3:00 pm in St. John’s Auditorium.
