Senior News This Sunday, a performance will take place immediately after Divine Liturgy at 1:00 p.m. in Plato Hall. The Norridge Radio Players will present "Those Were the Days." They will take us back to "old time radio" with skits from many comedies. Come join us for a delightful hour filled with laughter.

Philoptochos Membership Tea On Saturday, October 25th at Noon, we invite you to join us for lunch and a floral demonstration as we kick off our 2009 Membership Drive. It is always a pleasant afternoon and we look forward to seeing you attend with a daughter, koumbara, or a friend. Please mark your calendars and we hope to see you on the 25th.

DCFS Christmas Gifts For close to 10 years now, Orthodox Churches in the Chicagoland area have accepted 1,500 DCFS children`s names to purchase Christmas gifts for them. The names are available for pick up in Plato Hall. The wrapped gifts are due in Church on Sunday, November 23.

Annual Metropolitan Iakovos Nameday Dinner October 23rd The Chicago Clergy Syndesmos announces that it will once again celebrate the nameday of our Metropolitan Iakovos with a Banquet on Thursday, October 23rd, at the Carlisle Banquets in Lombard, Illinois. The Reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.. Tickets are available through the Church office (773-626-3114) or by speaking with Father Timothy or Father Athanasios.

Please Note The Sacraments of the Orthodox Church, including the reception of Holy Communion, are reserved for those of the Orthodox Faith only, and who are also in Good Standing Ecclesiastically with the Church. If you are a visitor from another Denomination/Faith, we welcome you as an observer and guest.
