Choral Art Society Concert; May 10th Saturday The Choral Art Society of 60 singers will perform Rachmaninoff’s masterpiece of sacred choral music know as the Vespers (All-Night Vigil). The piece is approximately one hour of Orthodox music that demands great vocal power and technique by its performers.

In 2006, we were thrilled to hear the Rachmaninoff’s Festival Choir perform the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom at Saint Vasilios. Now, we have the opportunity to hear Rachmaninoff’s jewel or masterpiece known as the Vespers by another choral group. The performance will be two weeks after our Easter, and will include a couple beautiful encore surprises for us at St Vasilios.

Iconography As many of you have seen, the restoration work on the icon of the Theotokos (Platytera) will continue after Pascha. Father Chris is still accepting donations for the $1,300 balance remaining in this endeavor. There are also four opportunities to donate an icon in the Holy Altar. The medallion icons of St. Joachim and Anna, who are the parents of the Virgin Mary and also the patrons of those who are having difficulty having children, are available to be donated. The icons of St. Joachim and St. Anna are $2,000 each. We would also like to add the icons of the two deacons St. Romanos the Melodos and St. Stephanos the Protomartyr. These icons are full-body and are $3,000 each. If you are interested in contributing to either the Platytera or one of the other icons please speak with Father Chris

Attention All R.N’s and M.D’s of our Parish Our new Parish Nurse Ministry needs your help. We need your ideas on how
