Christmas Giving Tree
The Christmas Giving Tree has been set up in the foyer of the educational center. The Church School’s grades 7 and 8 came together to make ornaments and grade 6 decorated the tree. This year we will be sponsoring the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, as well as the Philoxenia House in Boston, and again we will remember our military men and women serving around the world. Please remember those less fortunate in our communities by taking an ornament from the tree and returning the gift by Sunday, December 16th
Centennial Album PHOTOS
NOTICE
December 2nd, December 9th
We asked parishioners to bring in historic photos for our recently published Centennial history album. We also were careful to instruct people to mark their photos in an appropriate way so that we could return them to the rightful owner, once the album was finished. Unfortunately, some were very meticulous in marking them and others ignored our instructions entirely. Therefore, on the above mentioned Sundays, there will be a table in the Educational Center with a Centennial Committee representative attempting to return the photos to the rightful owners. Please be considerate with their difficult task. If you are not interested in receiving your photos, we will retain any photos that are historically significant to our parish life. One thing we have learned through this process is that we have not always been good at recording organizations or important historic events. We will attempt to correct this in the very near future by setting up a small group of archivists that will attempt to correct that inadequacy.

We have received many more requests, and we will continue the visits. Fr. Chris has called a meeting for Tuesday, April 24th at 1pm in the parlor room. Mary Franggos will lead a discussion on visitations. We ask the volunteers to bring a list of people visited, including addresses and phone numbers. Anyone interested in joining the group of volunteers is welcome to attend.
