PTA NEWS
Thank you to all who helped at the Christmas Breakfast. We appreciate your help in making the Breakfast a success!
Christmas Caroling to the Veterans was postponed due to weather, we will have a date in January set soon. More information to follow.
Our next PTA meeting is Sunday, January 13th during coffee hour, we hope to see you there. We will be discussing our upcoming Fundraiser in February, the Prize-a-Rama.

Centennial History Album Christmas Gift
This year, we have an opportunity for a unique gift during this holiday season, our Centennial history album. This album is not only a permanent record of the Centennial year, but also contains a comprehensive history of our parishes first 100 years. Mary Franggos (978-531-1336) has copies of “A Guide to Greek Traditions and Customs in America” by Mary Rouvelas for sale at $30/copy.
St. Stephen’s Volunteers
The St. Stephen’s volunteers have begun visitations for The Holy Season of Christmas. Fr. Panteleimon and Deacon Michael will also be visiting the home-bound to administer the sacrament of Holy Communion. These visitations will continue through January 7, 2008.
If you are aware of a parishioner of St. Vasilios who is in need of a visitation by the St. Stephen’s Volunteers or one of the clergy please telephone the church office at 978-531-0777.
FOOD DRIVE
The church school will be collecting canned goods for the Crombie Street Shelter and Haven From Hunger. These food pantries are in desperate need of supplies. Please make every effort to contribute to this very worthy cause especially during the Christmas Season. Collections may be dropped off at the Giving Tree in the foyer of the Rev. Andrew J Demotses Educational Center.
Community Credit Union Donation Program
From June 1, 2007 to December 31, 2007 the Credit Union will donate $100 to the St. Vasilios Building Fund for every member of St. Vasilios who will open a savings and a checking account at the Peabody branch (32 Central St.), up to a maximum of $5000. Please consider helping the church by opening an account, and don’t forget to mention that you are a St. Vasilios member!

DO NOT PARK WHERE IT IS LEGALLY MARKED: NO PARKING". You will receive a ticket from Peabody Police Dept. reserved spots for New England Market when you attend our services. Violators will be towed. They are great neighbors and we don't want to offend them!
