April 8 , 2006 - Lenten Retreat: Coming Home: Uncovering the Image The St. Michael the Archangel Orthodox parish in Cotuit, MA (62 Main St.) is having an Adult Lenten Retreat with the theme: “Coming Home: Uncovering the Image.” The presenter will be Fr. Antony Hughes. The retreat is free for HC/HC students.

Chanter needed for Holy Week in Lowell, MA A 100% Greek chanter is needed for Holy Week at the parish of Holy Trinity in Lowell, MA. For more information contact Fr. Cleopas at 978-458-8092.

Holy Week Activities at HC/HC Attention HC/HC students and families, if you are here for Holy Week, and not part of the Holy Week seminar team, you are still invited to share in the activities centered around our beautiful liturgical life, namely:
a. Assist in the decoration of the Kouvouklion/Epitaphios. This will begin at
approximately 11PM on the night of Holy Thursday. The working atmosphere will be
that of a vigil, where we will keep watch during the night as Christ remains crucified on the Cross.
b. Shower Christ with flowers during the Apokathelosis/Unnailing service on Great
Friday. This applies for the little girls on campus
c. Assist in the chanting of the Lamentations on Great Friday evening.
d. Read the Gospel in a foreign language during the Agapi Service on Holy Easter.
