Adult Christian Education has started We are offering two sections of the same course, How to Read the Bible, on Wednesdays. The morning section meets at 10:30 am at the bookstore. The evening section meets at 7pm in the church for prayer and then in the bookstore. Come and join us.

The books for Fr. Timothy's Bible classes are available in the Bookstore. They are: "How to Read the Bible for All its Worth" 3rd ed. by Gordon Fee & Douglas Stuart and "Reading Scripture with the Church Fathers" by Christopher A. Hall.

2009 Christmas Card The 2009 Christmas Card will be mailed to over 700 households. While there is a subscription donation to be listed, sponsors are also requested to underwrite the cost of the card and first class postage.

You can sponsor the Christmas card in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a milestone event like a wedding or graduation.

STEWARDSHIP MESSAGE Stewards of Annunciation,

Thank you for continuing to support our Stewardship ministry with your "best gifts". Now is the time with less than two months left in 2009 to fulfill your pledges to our beloved church. Especially now with Thanksgiving nearly upon us there is much to be thankful for all of God's blessings. Join your church family in this effort and become a "cheerful giver".
God Bless you all,
Your Stewardship Ministry Team.

Donations for New Surveillance System We have a proposal for a camera surveillance system for the complex around the church grounds. As you may know, we have had instances of break-ins to vehicles, purses taken and other instances of urban outdoorsmen using our facilities. We know that a camera system will not eliminate all activity, but it should be a deterrent and give us the ability to identify any perpetrators or other information that may be of help to us and law enforcement. The system has very good resolution cameras strategically placed around the complex and the cost is normally around $9,000. Our tenant, EXL Security has offered to install the system for $4,265.08 and will not charge for the monthly fee to monitor.
We would like to install this system as soon as possible and are requesting
donations to pay for it. Please either contact Jerry Wright or the office.
