GRADUATION SEASON APPROACHES
Our High School and College students will soon be graduating and we want to acknowledge them in a special program planned for June.
Please contact the Church Office (781-237-5561) if your son/daughter will be graduating.

FAMILY NIGHT, MAY 1ST FEATURING DR. ANN BEZZERIDES
Join us on the 1st for fellowship, food, learning and fun!
Age-appropriate programs will be offered for Pre-K – 12th Grade. Parents will enjoy a presentation from Dr. Bezzerides, Director, Office of Vocation and Ministry at Hellenic College and Holy Cross.
6:00 p.m.: Welcome & Prayer in the Sanctuary

OCF– MAY 3RD WALK FOR HUNGER & END-OF-SEMESTER BBQ
We’ll join Metropolitan Methodios for “the Walk” and then meet at Fr. Alex & Pres. Brandy’s
for an end-of-semester celebration.
For the Walk, we’ll begin the day with Divine Liturgy, 6:30 a.m. at the Metropolis Chapel (162 Goddard Ave., Brookline).
Fr. Alex will lead us in prayer along with other area students and then we will be shuttled to the Walk from there.
You can leave your car at the Metropolis all day.
We will reconvene for the BBQ at the Chetsas home at 6:00 p.m. (34 Pemberton Rd., Wayland).
All St. Demetrios & Brandeis students are more than welcome to attend both events.

CHURCH WOMEN UNITED FRIENDSHIP DAY Wednesday, May 6th, 7:00 p.m.
Join us at St. Andrew’s Church, Rte. 16 and Denton Road.
Stacey Kourtis and Jackie Theoharis will be honored as “Outstanding Young Church Women.”

GOYA: MUSCLES NEEDED! The energy and muscles of our GOYAns are requested by our Choir on Sat. May 9th, 9:00 a.m.
We will be working to build platforms for the Anniversary Concert on May 30th.
Together we’ll enjoy good, hearty work with hammer and nails and lots of snacks to keep up strong.

PARISH GENERAL ASSEMBLY On May 19th, join us for a General Assembly meeting concerning the urgent state of our Church– building infrastructure.
A light supper will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Child care will be provided.
Please mark this a priority: your voice, presence and commitment are critical to our parish family.


GOYA FRIDAY SPECIAL GUESTS ON MAY 29TH Student representatives from National OCF will be on hand to interact with our students and interested parents-they will be sharing excitement over college ministry and offering thoughts on “vocation.”
Host families are requested to house these three representative/college students.
Please contact Fr. Alex to offer your hospitality on May 29th/30th.


50TH ANNIVERSARY CHOIR CONCERT SATURDAY, MAY 30TH, 7:00 P.M.
Tickets are available during fellowship hour.
Donation is $20.00 per ticket.
Become a Friend of the Choir for $100.00: have your names (s) listed in the program book and receive two complimentary tickets.
Tickets purchased by mail can be obtained during fellowship hour or at the door on the evening of the performance.

MARCH/APRIL BROWN BAG MINISTRY Today is the last day of offering for
St. Bridget’s Food Pantry.
Thanks to all who have supported this Lenten project.
Details will follow shortly regarding our next effort.


HABITAT BUILD Our scheduled build-day of August 22nd is being carefully prepared for and our entire parish is excited and moved about this fantastic outreach opportunity.
