Church School Graduation Today The Church School ministry will hold its graduation ceremony today following the Divine Liturgy. Thank you to all the support provided by the families throughout the year and especially to the dedicated offerings of love and talents made by the Church School staff. Following the dismissal today, there will be a picnic lunch celebration for the Church School students at the playground/park at the far end of the classroom wing. We look forward to re-convening in our new facility in September with a newly-formatted and energized teaching ministry. But, in the mean time, classes are over but worship goes one, so...SEE YOU ALL NEXT SUNDAY!

HOPE/JOY Horse Ranch Visit Today Following Divine Liturgy and Church School Graduation today, the HOPE and JOY ministries will have a quick lunch at the church and then will visit the Pagonis family’s "C&G Ranch" in Evans City. The children will spend time learning about grooming, training and riding Arabian horses with a professional trainer. Thank you to the Pagonis family for this exciting opportunity.

Festival Meeting Today The Holy Trinity 2013 Greek Festival committee will hold a meeting in the trailer meeting room today following the Divine Liturgy. All committee members and any parishioner interested in helping with the planning of the festival are welcome to attend because we will need more help than ever for the biggest festival in Holy Trinity history coming up in August. Thank you, good stewards!

Lunch Reservations Available and Required for Thyranoixia The Thyranoixia Committee is pleased to remind everyone that even though the Saturday evening Gala has sold out, there are many other events happening that weekend, so please plan on attending them all: 1) The official "Thyranoixia" or "Opening of the Doors" starting at 8:30am on Saturday morning, June 22, including the Divine Liturgy and Saturday of the Souls Memorial; 2) The luncheon following the services - please note that a special lunch in a commemorative lunch is available, but pre-paid reservations ($12) are required to secure your lunch; 3) Pentecost Sunday 8:30am Orthros and 9:30am Divine Liturgy and Kneeling Service on Sunday, June 23, followed by a Community Feast Day Lunch hosted by Philoptochos (free-will offerings accepted); and finally 4) The Monday of the Holy Spirit Feast Day Liturgy and Coffee reception on June 24, starting with Orthros at 8:30am and Divine Liturgy at 9:30am. These all all "firsts" and "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences, so don`t miss out on any of them. Let`s all rejoice in the wonders God has worked in this community as we launch the next generation of Holy Trinity ministry at our new location!

Thyranoixia (Door Opening) Weekend Guide The Thyranoixia (Door Opening) Committee will be publishing a "Weekend Guide" to be distributed during the entire celebration weekend June 22– 24. It will contain information about the weekend’s activities, Holy Trinity’s history and ads from parishioners, friends and local businesses. The Weekend Guide will also include a sampling of parishioner responses to the question: “What does moving into the new Church facility mean to you and your family?” Flyers for submitting ads and giving your response to this question can be found on the information table outside of Fr. John’s office. You may also contact Penny Tomalski (724-813-5726 or pennybt@roadrunner.com) for more information.

May is Food Drive Month – Pick up Your Donation Bags Today Holy Trinity Church is the sponsor community for FOCUS Pittsburgh Emergency Food Pantry. During the month of May, you can participate in a meaningful way by remembering the less fortunate, who have basic nutritional and personal care needs every day. There are be specially-marked bags available after church today for everyone able to help, so that we can fill them, bring back and place them in the marked bins around the church. Together, we can replenish the shelves of the emergency food pantry, so no one is turned away empty-handed. Thank you for your generosity. Questions? See our FOCUS Ambassador, Mike Kritiotis, or email outreach@HolyTrinityPgh.org.

Construction Project Reminder: Visits Not Permitted on Worksite - REALLY! Things are progressing well with our new church project, but even though it looks like it's almost ready, it's not ready for us to visit yet! Our Building Committee and General Contractor once again remind us that it is an ACTIVE WORK SITE which is RESTRICTED to visitors. Though we are all excited to see the progress, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER the construction site at ANY period of the day or night (weekdays or weekends) or stop along Cumberland and Babcock to observe. There are many safety and liability issues that our contractor, Bridges & Company, has been asked to enforce and we must respect them. Our website will continue to be updated with photos and videos as construction progresses, so please check there for information and inside views. If you have any questions, please talk to Bill Fiedler or Jason Farmakis. Thank you for your understanding.

Keep Up With Final Construction Progress Online! Keep up with the last weeks of progress on the construction of the new Holy Trinity Church by visiting our website, www.HolyTrinityPgh.org. There are photos and also links to up-close walking tour videos with descriptions about construction progress and features of the new facilities. Videos are also available on Facebook at Facebook.com/holytrinitypgh and now on our Holy Trinity YouTube Channel at www.youtube.com/user/holytrinitypgh.

Calling All Spero’s Books: Please Come Home! Attention Church School parents and students: if Spero needs your help! There are many books and DVDs missing from his library! Dozens of them. If you have any books out from the St. Spyridon Children`s Library, please return them bby the end of the month. The staff needs to begin packing up for the big move and would like to have all the materials back. If you cannot locate any books or materials, please see a library staff member about replacing them. Also, if a staff member contacts you about missing materials checked out by your children, please respectfully and responsibly fulfill their request to return or replace them. Many years of development have gone into our Saint Spyridon Library. It is a valuable community resource - let`s respect it and care for it properly. Thank you!
