Apolytikion for Great and Holy Pascha
Greek: Χριστὸς ἀνέστη ἐκ νεκρῶν, θανάτῳ θάνατον πατήσας, καὶ τοῖς ἐν τοῖς μνήμασι ζωὴν χαρισάμενος.
Phonetics: Hristos anesti ek nekron, thanato thanaton patisas, ke tis en tis mnimasi, zoin harisamenos.
English: Christ is risen from the dead, by death trampling down upon death, and to those in the tombs He has granted life.

Resurrectional Apolytikion - Tone 3 (Page 52)
Let the heavens rejoice and the earth be glad, for the Lord has shown the power of His reign; He has conquered death by death, and become the first born of the dead. He has delivered us from the depths of Hades; and has granted to the world great mercy.
