Today is the crown of our salvation, and the revelation of the mystery planned from eternity; the Son of God, becomes the Virgin’s Son, and Gabriel announces the grace. Wherefore, we along with him, to the Theotokos let us cry out: Rejoice, O full of grace, the Lord is with you.

From the heights You came down, O Compassionate One. And You did submit to three day burial, that from the passions You might deliver us. O our Life and Resurrection, O Lord, glory be to You.”

To you, the Champion Leader, we your flock dedicate a feast of victory and of thanksgiving, as ones rescued out of sufferings, O Theotokos. But as you are one with might which is invincible, from all dangers that can be do you deliver us, that we may cry to you: Rejoice, O Bride unwedded.
