ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM ORATORICAL FESTIVAL

N E W & EXPANDED FORMAT

PARISH FESTIVAL


Introduced in 1983, the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival has provided Greek Orthodox teenagers the opportunity to write and talk about their faith. The Archdiocese Oratorical Festival Program begins at the Parish Level and is divided into two divisions; the Junior Division for students in the 7th to 9th grades and the Senior Division for teenagers in the 10th to 12th grades.

Each participant in our Parish Oratorical Festival will be eligible for a $150.00 grant to attend summer camp at St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center. The two finalists in each division will receive a one week scholarship to attend summer camp at St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center.

This year, we expanded our program to include our young people in the 3rd to 6th grades. These young people presented topics on aspects of our Faith which included topics about passages from Holy
