Apolytikion for Great and Holy Pascha

“Christ is risen from the dead; and by His death has He trampled upon death; and to those in the tombs does He grant life!”

Let us give praise and worship, O faithful, to the Word, co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit, born of the Virgin for our salvation. Of His own will He mounted the Cross in the flesh, suffered death, and raised the dead through His glorious resurrection.



Apolytikion of the Church

Today is the crown of our salvation, and the revelation of the mystery planned from eternity; the Son of God, becomes the Virgin’s Son, and Gabriel announces the grace. Wherefore, we along with him, to the Theotokos let us cry out: Rejoice, O full of grace, the Lord is with you.
