The women disciples of the Lord heard from the angel, the joyful news of the Resurrection and the repeal of the sentence imposed upon our forefathers. Apolytikion of the Church
Today is the crown of our Salvation and the manifestation of the Eternal Mystery. The son of God become the Son of the Virgin, and Gabriel announce the good tidings of grace. Wherefore let us also with him cry to the Mother of God: Hail! you who are full of grace; the Lord is with you.
