VACATION CHURCH SCHOOL
August 4-8, 9 a.m.-noon. Don’t let your child miss this free, fun and fellowship-filled week for children age 4-Grade 6. This year’s theme is “The Parables that Jesus Told.” Registration forms are on the bulletin board and will also be in the summer Epistle.

DORMITION FAST
Paraclesis services will take place Wednesdays and Fridays at 7 p.m. on Aug. 6, 8 & 13 in preparation for the Dormition of the Theotokos on Fri., Aug. 15 Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. There will also be Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. Wed., Aug. 6 for the Holy Transfiguration.

Young Adults Conclude Weekend of Worship, Fellowship, and Commitment to Service at National Conference

Over 200 young adults from throughout the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America gathered this past weekend in Washington, DC for the National Young Adult Conference. The conference began on Thursday, July 10 with a Chesapeake Bay Crab Feast hosted by the Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Falls Church, Virginia.
