HELLENIC COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS This liberal arts college in Brookline, Mass., is celebrating its 40th anniversary with 2 new scholarships starting in the 2009-2010 School Year:
The “Come and See” Scholarship- offers 80% off of tuition for all incoming students to both Hellenic College and Holy Cross Seminary, male or female, for the 2009-10 school year. The scholarship will follow the student through their entire 4-year course of study if they maintain a 3.0 GPA. Normal admissions process applies.
The Chrysostom Scholarship- operating in conjunction with the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival, it is offered to each 1st Place Speaker from each participating parish. Other criteria of the scholarship will be presented to those who enter the Oratorical Festival.

To keep the cost of the Greek Letters Luncheon a family-friend event, PTO is looking for any of the following items to be donated: 200 chicken breasts, 50 chicken tenderloins, oven French fries, 3 cases vegetable medley, 25 lbs. Uncle Ben’s rice, salad items/dressing, 12 lbs. feta cheese, 5 lbs. olives, 250 each disposable plastic salad bowls, entrée and dessert plates, 300 bread rolls, 1 box of individual butters, 250 pieces of baklava or other dessert, 24 bottles red wine, 150 cans of pop, 30 tablecloths, 200 plastic cups, 150 each styrofoam coffee cups and small plastic wine cups, 250 napkins, 250 sets of plastic silverware, flowers for centerpieces, teachers’ corsages.
