Kroger Community Rewards thank you to the 37 registered households that shopped at Kroger between 5/1/09 and 7/31/09. We earned $424.80 for our church just by shopping at Kroger! This is a very easy program to participate in. Please see Cathy Brylinski for registration information to sign up for this program.

Sunday School Recycle program Please keep bringing in your empty ink jet cartridges and old cell phones for recycle program….your donations really do help us. NO toner cartridges or household batteries can be accepted. The drop off Bin is located between the glass doors as you enter the office area. Thank you for your continued support.

Renew the Vision Campaign make your pledge now and pay it by 2011. To date, 35 families and 2 organizations of our Parish have pledged a total of $240,250. Out of these pledges $80,150 has been paid. See the Poster in the Narthex for pledge cards and details or ask any Board Member for more information. Thank you.

Sunday School News Our classes range from preschool through 12th grade, with a staff of 16 teachers. Tuition is $25 per student for the entire year. You may print and fill out the registration form in advance from our website, www.stcons.org

Senior Group News Lunch & Bingo meeting on Thursday, October 15. Everyone welcome.

Moms’ Group Please join us for our next meeting on October 19, at 6:15-7:45p, at church.
College Connection - is our outreach program to our college students living at home or at school. We send two small care packages a year to the students and an Iconogram for their name day. If you would like to register your college student for this program, please see Cathy Brylinski or Irene Psilis. The program is funded by a pop can drive (located in the office entrance area) and your generous donations. Please help us reach out to our college students to let them know we are thinking of them and praying for them.


Men’s Club first meeting will be held on Sunday, October 18, immediately after church service. Attendance is important as officers will be selected and charter resolution will be discussed. Now, more than ever in the past, the SC&H Men’s Club has a great opportunity to support and represent the church and the community through fellowship, networking, hard work and lots of fun. Everyone is welcome.
Feed the Needy Thanksgiving Program: we are accepting donations now. Please consider donating to our annual program to help those in need in our area. Volunteers will be needed for packaging and distributing the boxes. Please see John Koinis to donate. Thank you.


Save the Date and mark you calendar: The 12th Annual Fall Festival will be held Friday, October 30 at the Hellenic Cultural Center from 6-9 pm. As always, we cover the cost of this community event through your generous donations and ticket sales. Veterans Day 11/11/2009 church remembrance will be held on Nov. 8th. We will honor the men and woman who have served in the armed services of the United States and Greek Military, on Sunday, November 8th. Please submit names and branch of the military so that we may honor with a prayer of thank you to those who are still with us, and a memorial, for those who have left us.
