Alms Box - Support a Missionary Priest Alms Lenten collections go to the SAMP program (a development program of the Orthodox Christian Mission Center that offers monthly financial assistance to indigenous priests in extremely poor areas around the world. Through SAMP donations, the priest is able to apply himself more fully to the needs of the parish and hierarchs are able to ordain more clergy to meet the growing needs of their flock.) of the OCMC (Orthodox Christian Mission of SCOBA (Standing Conference of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in the Americas)).

Help with Cathedral Outreach Efforts We need your help. Deacon Charles is building a list of those who are involved with various outreach organizations like Hospice, United Ministries or Meals on Wheels. He would like to identify those who are willing to keep our community up-to-date on the services and needs of these organizations and to be a resource person for our community members. Send him information on the organization you help by email cjoiner@mac.com, or phone 254-0150 or via the Cathedral office 233-8531.
