Greek Festival 2009: Please mark your calendars to set aside the weekend of May 15-17 to work at our Church's annual Greek Festival. The Committee will be setting up sign up sheets after Divine Liturgy during the month of April. We ask everyone to try to commit to at least a four hour shift each day of the festival, although many people will be committing to working the entire day of each day of the festival.

Realizing some of people will be away, due to out-of-town commitments,we ask if you would consider making a donation towards some of the food supplies we will be needing:

Case of chicken souvlaki $ 50.00
case of pork souvlaki $40.00
case of gyro meat $55.00
bucket of Olives $75.00
bucket of feta $55.00

Our festival is a vital source of funds from outside our parish to help pay of our mortgage for our new church.

Thank you,
Fetsival Committee

Dance Practices We are down to a handful of weeks for dance practice before the festival! Considering Easter and Spring Breaks, that takes away even more weeks! Here is a list of the remaining dates available for dance practice - please mark your calendars. The dates with the (*)are practices that are moved to Saturday. We may not be able to use Massey Chapel on those dates (still to be determined) so I may be sending out info about another practice location on those dates:

Sun, May 3
Sat, May 9 *

A reminder the dance practice is 3-4:30PM. We know will primarily be working only on the routine for the festival and getting that firmed up and ready.

Hope to see you on Sunday in church and at dance practice :-)

Festival worker sign up: Our annual Greek Festival is fast approaching: Last year`s workers` sign up on the internet had proven awkward and confusing for many. Some showed up offering to work unexpectedly, creating worker shortages for some areas, and too many workers at other booths.

This year we have a chairperson in charge for staffing for each booth or section. Please contact the following persons to sign up for areas which you are inclined or experienced towork.

We ask everyone to strive to commit to at least four hours per festival day, although many of us will be committed to working the entire festival.
