Ordination of Thad Roupas
His Eminence Metropolitan Alexios will ordain Thad Roupas to the Holy Diaconate during the Divine Liturgy at Panagia Prousiotissa Greek Orthodox Monastery on Saturday, August 23rd. – The Divine Liturgy will begin at 9:00 am and will be preceded by the chanting of the service of the Hours at 7:00 am. For Directions see below. Please be advised that there is a dress code (see below) and all those attending are asked to abide by this dress code.
Deacon Thad will be ordained to the Holy Priesthood at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church 5000 Lead Mine Road – Raleigh NC on Sunday August 24th – Orthros begins at 8:30 am Doxology at 9:50 am and the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am. A special coffee hour will follow in honor of the newly ordained Father Thad Roupas. and his Presvitera

Dress Code
Men are asked to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts.Women are asked to wear ankle-length skirts, long-sleeved shirts, and are to have their heads covered with a veil or scarf. Please DO NOT wear hats (unless over a scarf), shear scarves, pants (unless under a skirt), shorts, pant-skirts, mini-skirts, sleeveless blouses, short-sleeved shirts, etc. Everyone is asked to wear socks (especially when wearing sandals).
Youth Sunday
Our monthly "Youth Sunday" will be celebrated this Sunday, August 17th, young people of the Parish Family are invited and encouraged to participate in various activities of the worship service.
Welcome Committee Meeting:
Monday, August 18th, The Welcome Committee will once again meet at Mariakakis`Fine Foods, at 6:00 PM for reviewing the decisions made at the past meeting and establishing a rotating roster for serving in the narthex.
