Philoptochos to Meet: The first Philoptochos Meeting of the new Ecclesiastical New Year will take place Sunday after the Divine Liturgy. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending. New members are always welcome.


Memorial Prayers: We will remember Michael Vassilaides, long time chanter of Saint Barbara Church, with a memorial prayer service this Sunday. Michael fell asleep in the Lord, thirty five years ago on September 13th. Please join us as we remember him and his years of service to Saint Barbara.


Youth Sunday: Our monthly observance of “youth” Sunday will take place on September 20th. We encourage and urge our young people to attend Divine Liturgy on this day and to actively participate in various parts of the Liturgy. Sunday School Classes: Sunday School classes will begin September 27th immediately following services. If you have not already done so, please fill out the attached form for your children aged 4 through high school to aid the Sunday school staff in preparing for classes. We are looking forward to sharing a deeper understanding of our Orthodox faith with our young people.
