Sung at the Small Entrance
In places of congregation bless God, the Lord, / from the springs of Israel. / Save us O Son of God,/ who rose from the dead,/ to You we sing alleluia.

Today's Resurrectional Hymn (2nd tone)
When You descended to the realm of death You as life immortal rendered to Hades a mortal blow by Your all radiant divinity. And when You from infernal depths and the darkness below did raise the dead all the hosts of heaven’s powers did proclaim and cry out O life giving Christ and our God we give glory.

Hymn of Joseph of Arimathea (2nd tone)
Noble Joseph, having lowered from the Cross, your undefiled body, in clean linen wrapped it with myrrh and sweet spices, and in a brand new tomb, with loving care laid it; but on the third day You did rise, O Lord, granting to the world your great mercy.

Apolytikion for Holy Myrrhbearers Sunday
By the side of the tomb, an Angel stood and said, to the Myrrh-bearing women: the spices and myrrh become the mortal, but Christ through corruption proved himself incorruptible; but shout out with joy, the Lord has Risen, granting to the world his great mercy.

Hymn of our Church, for St. Paul (4th tone)
Ethnos se kirika ke fostira trimegiston, Athineon didaskalon ekoumenis aglaisma, efrosinos gereromen tous agonas timomen ke tas vasanous thia Christon, to septon sou martirion, Agie Paule, Apostole, presveve Christo to Theo, sothine tas psichas imon.
O preacher to the gentiles and thrice grandest shining star, / the Athenians teacher and the universe’s ornament, / we joyously honor you. / We pay homage to the struggles that you had/ for the sake of Christ, / and your dignified martyrdom, / Holy and glorious Apostle Paul. / Intercede with Christ our God, / entreating Him to save our souls.

Kontakion of Pascha
Into the grave you descended, Immortal One, yet you destroyed the power of Hades, and as victor you arose, O Christ our God; you proclaimed to the myrrh-bearing women a greeting of joy, you brought peace to your holy apostles, and to the fallen you granted resurrection.
