Welcome
* We extend greetings and a warm welcome to all the visitors worshipping with us today. Following the Liturgy, please join us in our social hall for the coffee social.
* Holy Communion is reserved for those who have been Baptized and/or Confirmed in the Easter Orthodox Faith. The Communion Prayers are our final preparation to receive the Sacrament. We also prepare to receive by fasting prior to the Divine Liturgy in the morning (we, of course, continue to take prescribed medications). We also prepare ourselves by fasting on Wednesday and Friday each week and through regular confession. An Usher will invite you to join the Communion line.
Today
* MYNMOSINA: 40 days for Mary Bozikis; 2 years for Angelo Glyptis; TRISAGIA: for Keriakos Bozikis; 28 years for Kalliope Valantasis; for George Valantasis.
* Coffee Social ~ The Bozikis and Glyptis families are hosting this week. Ethel Williams and family will host next week.
* COFFEE SOCIAL ~ Please note that coffee social begins following the distribution of the andithoron. NO ONE should gather in the social hall while Liturgy is being performed. As we are getting ready to begin Sunday School, we should be mindful to set a good example for our youth.
* We observe Church Music Sunday throughout the Archdiocese. We thank the choir members, the cantors and all those who contribute in this ministry to edify our worship experience.
* GOYAns are taking pre-orders during the coffee social for Krispy Kreme doughnuts which will be delivered on October 18th. Cost is $6 per dozen glazed doughnuts.
* 6:00 p.m. GOYA Fireside chat with Father David in church parking lot.
* College Students ~ Parents call or email the office with your child’s email address so that we can forward the monthly Messenger and other information to them.
* LOST AND FOUND ~ please check the box located near the candle stand for lost items.
