CHURCH & HALL MAINTENANCE
This Sunday, following Liturgy, we will be making a number of safety-related repairs and changes to the Church & the fellowship hall. If you would like to help, then please see Ian Mitchell following Liturgy.

RECEIVING COMMUNION
When coming up to receive communion, please wait in your pew until directed by the myrrhbearers. This allows for a more orderly process for everyone involved.

ORTHODOX BOOK CLUB
This Sunday, January 24th, our Orthodox book club will continue with the final five chapters of A Mountain of Silence. Please see Ian Mitchell for more details.

CHOIR PRACTICE
Every Saturday at 4:00pm (immediately preceding Vespers) there will be a choir practice. If you are interested in joining the choir or learning Byzantine music, then please see Presbytera Kedrann for more details.

ST. BASIL'S ACADEMY
Today the philoptochos will pass a tray to collect funds for St. Basil`s Academy. This is in place of the normal Building Fund basket.

TOTAL COMMITMENT 2010
Our Total Commitment to the Archdiocese for 2010 is $15,446. This is an increase of $5,000 from last year and as it is greater then we provisionally budgeted at our Fall parish assembly, it has necessitated a change in our budget. The parish council is looking for someone willing to act as the assistant treasurer, helping Pete when he is not in town. If you are interested, then please contact Pete as soon as possible for more information.
