Apolytikion of the Church
An example of the faith and a life of humility, as a teacher of self-control you did inspire and lead your flock, and through the truthfulness of your deeds, were exalted by greatness through your humility, uplifting all, and by poverty gaining strength. Orthodoxy 101 Class
Father Ion will be offering a class on the basic fundamentals of our Orthodox faith. The class will be held on Fridays, from 12:15pm to 1:15pm in the office boardroom and is open to all ages. The class begins on Friday, July 13, 2012.

A reminder that the July and August issues of The Canon of Faith will not be mailed but only issued electronically. PAL: Parea After Liturgy - A Summertime Sunday spiritual and social class. Meets today: Pre-K and Kindergarten(3-6 years old)in Room 2 and grades 1-6 in room 3. No registration needed.

The next Missions meetings: August 21, at St. Nicholas. The next Walk for Mission meeting: June 27, 7 p.m. in the Boardroom. Reflection: Luke 24:47 “…repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

Visitation Ministry
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, July 12, at 10:30am in the Boardroom. Will review the visitation lists, report on serving through InnVision and learning from St. Vincent the Paul.
