Parish Assembly Meeting

Members of the Parish Council met following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, May 9 and discussed a few items that were to be presented at a General Assembly Meeting on May 23. Many members had made plans to be away on May 23, so it was necessary to postpone the Assembly meeting to a Sunday when more of the membership will be in attendance.

It was approved to extend an invitation to His Eminence Metropolitan Isaiah to visit the parish on on the weekend of September 18-19, 2004. More information will be availble when the invitation is accepted and plans are made for the weekend.

In addition, the council discussed representation at the 2004 Biennial Clergy-Laity Congress of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese. Fr. Nektarios will be attending, and one of the council members may possibly attend. The Congress will be held in New York City.
